Why did this acquisition happen?
In an effort to maintain a high level of local service to PiF Technologies’s clients, Usherwood was selected to acquire the business and continue PiF Technologies’s commitments.  

"When we looked at what was best for our clients and team long-term, Usherwood was the right fit," said Gary Saklad, CEO PiF Technologies, "They share our values and commitment to local service. Our clients will still work with the same people they’ve always trusted — just now with the added benefit of Usherwood’s expanded capabilities and regional presence."

Where will the local office be located?
PiF's current office will continue operating in addition to Usherwood’s existing location in Manchester.
What happens to my current contract with PiF Technologies?

Your current contract will remain in place for the remainder of its duration and will be served by Usherwood.

Will my rates change?

No, your rates will remain the same per your existing contract.  There are no changes to rates as a result of the acquisition.  

Will my service and response time change?

No, your current service, support, and maintenance will continue uninterrupted, with your current PiF sales and service team, as well as the Usherwood team.  As part of the Usherwood family, you’ll benefit from expanded coverage and access to a broader range of technical expertise and services as well.  

Do I still work with the same account representative?

Yes, you will continue to work with your current PiF sales and service representatives in addition to the Usherwood team.  

How do I place service calls or supply orders?

Service and supply calls will transition to Usherwood's various options that are fully detailed at usherwood.com/support

Will my pricing or billing change?

No, pricing and billing terms will remain the same under your current contract.  Starting on July 15 new electronic bills will be generated on your current cycle with details on how to provide payment.  

How does this change benefit me?
As part of the Usherwood family, you’ll benefit from expanded coverage, faster response times, and access to a broader range of technical expertise and new products and services beyond print.
What will the company name be?
PiF Technologies will become Usherwood Office Technology effective July 14, 2025.
