Usherwood Office Technology Celebrates Major Milestones in 2026 Fiscal Kickoff at Turning Stone
SYRACUSE, N.Y., October 17, 2025 – Usherwood Office Technology celebrated the end of the technology provider’s fiscal year and the start of a new one. At the kickoff event, Usherwood employees from across the Northeast gathered at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY to recap fiscal year 2025 and network with colleagues. Highlights and announcements from the event included:
New IT Services
Usherwood unveiled an expanded portfolio of IT Services – Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Cybersecurity, and Co-Managed IT—designed to simplify technology for medium to large sized organizations while strengthening security and compliance. Usherwood’s Cybersecurity service—built on its proven Odyssey methodology—includes full assessments and roadmaps, 24/7 monitoring with managed EDR, vulnerability management, cloud image backups, and zero-trust guidance with user training. Already part of Usherwood’s fully managed IT program, these tools and protections are now available independently for organizations that want to enhance their internal IT capabilities. The new GRC service pairs vCISO support with a governance platform to streamline policies, risk registers, and audits for frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and CIS. Co-Managed IT extends in-house teams with flexible overflow, project expertise, and dedicated client success managers—so leaders gain visibility, faster response, and predictable outcomes without giving up control. “Technology should empower growth, not complicate it,” said Charlie Usherwood, Chief Technology Officer at Usherwood. “With these new service options we’re giving organizations the flexibility to strengthen their security posture and advance their IT initiatives with greater confidence and control.”
SOC 2 Type II Certification
Usherwood announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance, one of the most rigorous and respected standards in the industry for information security. Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a SOC 2 information security standard is a report that validates controls relevant to security, availability, integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Lindsay Usherwood, General Counsel at Usherwood, explains why this matters for clients: “SOC 2 Type II accreditation proves that our security controls aren’t just well-designed — they work consistently over time. It’s another step in ensuring our clients can trust us with their most sensitive information. I am proud of our team for their commitment to our client’s security.”
Celebrating 50 Years
The new 2026 fiscal year also marks 50 years in business for Usherwood. Starting in 2026 Usherwood will kick off a year of celebrations for the clients and employees that have made the last 50 years possible and look ahead to the next 50 years of continued growth and expansion.
“Turning the page to our 50th year is both a celebration and a commitment. We’re grateful to the clients who trust us and the employees who make that trust possible—and we’re using this milestone as a launchpad for the next 50 years of growth, innovation, and service.” – Lou Usherwood, CEO.
Record Revenue and Growth
During 2025, Usherwood hired 33 new employees across the northeast, promoted 11, achieved record sales generating $46.3 million in revenue, and acquired PiF Technologies in Hooksett, NH for its 19th location. As the leading regional provider of IT solutions, managed print, cloud communications technology, and security solutions in the Northeast, Usherwood has big plans to continue this growth into the 2026 fiscal year and beyond.
Continued Dedication to Clients
Usherwood also achieved exceptional client service and satisfaction, advancing its mission to provide outstanding client experiences. Usherwood’s Net Promoter Score, a loyalty metric derived from customer reviews, was 92.49 for 2025, beating giants such as Starbucks with a score of 77 and Amazon with 73. Usherwood averaged a call wait time of 9 seconds, and closed an average of 90 tickets per day by the Technical Service Center and Client Services teams.

Looking ahead into 2026, Usherwood Office Technology has already moved forward in creating several jobs for local professionals across its served regions.
“With such a wide footprint across the Northeast, it’s always meaningful to bring our entire team together to celebrate what we’ve achieved and set our sights on what’s ahead,” said Usherwood President Ken Stinson. “Our collective effort this past year has positioned us for tremendous growth, and with plans to add over 50 new positions, new services and a continued commitment to helping our clients’ businesses grow in 2026, the best is yet to come.”
