Once sensitive information has been entered into a chatbot, you lose control over where that data is stored, processed, or retained. Deleting a conversation does not mean the information is permanently erased from all systems, logs, backups, or records. Those systems and logs could be breached, potentially exposing any sensitive information stored within them. Always follow your organization's policies and avoid sharing confidential, proprietary, or regulated information with AI tools unless they are specifically approved for that purpose.
